The Barak Group was founded in 1978 by Engineer Michael Barak, a mechanical engineer who specialized in designing and manufacturing aluminum profiles and metal castings. Barak began his career working at large aluminum companies in Israel. In 1967, when Israel began manufacturing the Kfir aircraft, the Ministry of Defense sent Barak to a factory in France to learn how to cast the aircraft’s landing gear.

In 1978, after years working in Israeli industry, Barak founded the Barak Group, with manufacturing facilities in Haifa covering an area of more than 4,000 sq m. The group employs around 100 people who work in producing and installing aluminum systems. In addition, the group operates a display room and sales center in Herzlyia Pituah and successfully markets its innovative products in Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Italy and Germany.

The Barak Group develops, manufactures, markets and installs advanced shading systems, including aluminum pergolas and awnings, roller shutters and electric shutters, light-permitting shutters and motors for electric shutters.

The Barak Group manufactures all its products at its Haifa manufacturing facility, where it strictly adheres to using high quality materials imported from leading manufacturers worldwide. The group assumes direct responsibility for managing and processing orders, from the stage of product preparation up to installation in the customer’s home.
